I started my journey of supporting birth through my chiropractic practice, educating and physically supporting pregnancy, new moms and infants. That passion grew to include birth doula training and childbirth education for parents and professionals.
About Me
Hi! My name is Anna Marie. I am a birth doula, childbirth education instructor and chiropractor. I live in Kelowna, BC and respectfully acknowledge that I reside, work and play on the traditional and unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan people.
I incorporated doula services into my offerings with a passion for continuity of care. My absolute favourite scenario is meeting a pregnant person for chiropractic care, connecting and building a relationship that grows into birth doula support. After the birth, I have the unique opportunity to stay connected through postpartum care for mom and babe which absolutely fills my cup!
I live for connection and supporting those around me. Sometimes that's a phrase or affirmation during your adjustments, sometimes that looks like being there at your birth. Or anything in-between!
In 2021 I became a certified Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator through the Rooted Birth program and have been passionately attending births for patients since! My doula education also includes being a Body Ready Method Certified Practitioner.
In 2022, I expanded my education to become an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor to meet the needs of our Okanagan community! I teach series-style classes to help you absorb and integrate the information into your journey.
