Anna Marie was our doula for our first born and it was so amazing having her in the preparation delivery and postpartum stage! She really was a game changer and allowed us to feel so much more comfortable and and having a very empowered birth experience. She's very educated knows a lot about positions and ways to support the baby and mom and dad and couldn't imagine doing it without her! Highly recommend!

Anna Marie is a beautiful human who has endless knowledge, skill and compassion for pregnant people and their partners. She was thoughtful and evidence based in her approach to caring for us as we moved through a complex pregnany. Words honestly cannot express how grateful we were to have Anna walk with us through the process, providing reassurance and support, consistency and kindness. She constantly met us where we were at in our journey, responded to questions and held space when we needed it most. I would 100% recommend Anna as a doula, chiropractor and in any other capacity that she offers.

Anna Marie is pure magic !! If you are considering a doula she’ll be your angel during your labour!! I really don’t have enough room to write how wonderful of a human, chiropractor and doula she is but I’ll try. She helped my daughter and I navigate her tongue tie in her early months, squeezed me in for chiro when I was going through a hard time, held space for me and spoke to me with such kindness. She is a wealth of knowledge and you feel safe in her care. So when I was pregnant with my rainbow baby I without a doubt needed her by my side as a doula. We had an unmedicated natural birth and I couldn’t have done it without her!! Kept my body in check during pregnancy and helped keep my sanity during labour!!! Chiro and doula what more could you need!!! <3<3

Anna Marie is the most amazing Doula. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone seeking guidance, education, coaching in their birthing experience. Anna Marie is someone who connects with others easily. She is kind, empathetic, down to earth and highly educated on anatomy and the birthing process. She had such a good relationship with the staff that everything seemed to flow super smoothly. [...] After we arrived home, Anna Marie visited us and brought me bone broth to help in my recovery. To say that Anna Marie went above and beyond does not do her service justice. Hire her, you won't regret it!

I highly recommend Dr. Anna Marie and her Evidence Based Birth class. It helped my husband and I step into our birth experience feeling empowered to make evidence informed decisions that worked for our family. The online course is easy to navigate and the podcast is an added bonus with every topic that you can think of! Anna Marie goes above and beyond in her classes pulling from her Doula and chiropractic knowledge and skill to create a truly well rounded course that can be tailored to each families unique birth preferences. This is definitely not your average child birth class!

I can’t recommend Anna Marie’s Evidence Based Birth Course enough! The format of the course is easy to follow and Anna Marie is a wealth of knowledge! The course helped my husband and I feel very prepared for labour and birth. When our labour did not go to plan (as it never does) we were never overwhelmed and felt we had enough knowledge to navigate everything as it came at us rapid fire.
This isn’t your average birth course and I couldn’t imagine going through labour without having taken it - especially my husband! Because of the course he had enough knowledge to know what was coming, what our options were, he understood all information coming at us from health care providers and could advocate easily when I couldn’t. *I birthed with midwives in the hospital, and no doula, just for reference!*

Highly recommend the Evidence Based Birth prenatal classes taught by Anna Marie! My partner and I felt empowered from the information we learned in this class. We appreciated having summaries of the latest science as well as practical, hands-on tips and insights specific to giving birth in Kelowna. Anna Marie is a great instructor with a unique perspective as both a chiropractor specializing in pre/post-natal care and as a doula!

Anna Marie and the EBB classes were aligned with my learning goals and expectations. What I loved most was the frank discussions, inclusive environment and the language my partner became comfortable with so there were no surprises when things came up in our delivery. The evidence based summary articles we turned back to with our specific diagnoses of gestational diabetes, induction methods and accupressure cheatsheet. Thanks AM for sharing the journey with us! I would 100% recommend this course to families looking for a cut above the rest for evidence-informed pregnancies as there is so much information to wade through that is not correct in this day and age!
